About the Recipe
Smoothies are the favored way to enjoy fruits, be they fresh, freeze-dried or frozen. You can make this mixed berry smoothie when with CHILL-OUT freeze-dried pineapples, apples, mangoes, strawberries and bananas. The CHILL-OUT freeze-dried fruits can be used instead of fresh fruits when fresh fruits are out of season. You can also add the CHILL-OUT freeze-dried veggies.
The freeze-dried fruits add concentrated nutrition to any smoothie.

Ingredients
3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup CHILL-OUT freeze-dried fruit (Pineapple Pete, Alien Apple, Strawberry Sweeties, or Mambo Mangoes)
1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
Preparation
Step 1
Gather the ingredients. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. This may take 2 minutes, which will seem like a long time to blend something, but the smooth texture at the end is totally worth it. It takes a bit of extra time, but the true "smoothie" texture that results will be worth the effort.
Step 2
Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
